erik and i took a whirlwind trip to SC to visit family last weekend. (more pics in the side column) i think i was more nervous about making the trip without bryce and having enough stuff in my bag of tricks to keep a 6 month old happy on the airplane. erik was wonderful on the flights. i got over my anxiety about nursing him in very public, tight quarters and we arrived happy to see my dad and paulette waiting for us at the gate. greenville was beautiful, and the humid air made the changing leaves smell beautiful.
it was so wonderful to see my family members that i don't often get to see. they are always so warm and gracious with their time and love. erik took everything in-stride. he was so friendly and excited to meet everybody - it made my heart melt as he reached out to family members he had just barely met and then drool all over them. thanks for the fun visit ya'll!
