lots a pasta

last night was our annual young women's spaghetti dinner/dessert auction fundraiser for the year. it's always a ton of work, but so rewarding to see the good people in our neighborhood come out and support our girls. toppers bakery always provides the food and the girls provide the desserts. we were lucky this year to have two great restaurant owners in our neighborhood that provided those "extra special" desserts. i'm always humbled to see plates of homemade fudge get auctioned off for $50 and popcorn balls for $35 each. our little group raised over $2600. plenty of cash for a great girls camp and other activities for the year! here is a picture of the dessert i made. it really was a snap. i saw the recipe on good things utah monday morning and made it yesterday. might i add that it got a $65 bid. :)
