well, not so sunny after all. the sun came out an hour or two before we flew home. we had a wonderful time though and can't imagine having done the things we did while baking in the sun every day. we drove the coastline on saturday trying to imagine having a place in la jolla or somewhere around solana beach - just incredibly gorgeous. that night we met up in old town with some friends who were in town for the marathon. erik loved the mariachi band and we loved the mexican food. the next day was my birthday and we celebrated by hanging out at the marathon finish, enjoying in-an-out burgers and having a great time at sea world. it all came to an end yesterday spending time at the san diego zoo. we saw a ton and ate a ton and made some great family memories.
