erik learned how to "say" grandpop a few days before my dad's visit. it was perfect timing even though i think e was just imitating the sounds i was making. my dad's visit from south carolina was to get a look at his new grandbaby, jack travis, who was born in march. three days was not enough time to spend with my dad. his infectious energy made everything we did a blast - even if it was just sitting around hanging out and talking. we made some great memories and celebrated an early 60th birthday for my old man. happy early bday dad!

it's always fun to have parents in town. glad you guys had a nice time. i'm sure it melted his heart to hear erik say grandpop. you look beautiful tara, your hair is so long!
