christian turned the big 1-0 last week. besides the usual birthday spankings from dad, we found a few other ways to celebrate. this was his first "friend party" at our place. christian invited a few friends from church and the neighborhood to go ice skating and have pizza. the funny part was that none of these kids had ever really ice skated before. bryce said that they all just hung out on the walls for 2 hours but tried really hard. one story that we thought was really funny was when one friend read a sign hanging on the wall at the weber county ice sheet. it said "respect the sport". bryce overheard him telling the other kids, "you know, i'm going to try harder and get this ice skating - i'm going to respect the sport." sooo funny! after skating, we met up at tonys pizza and got stuffed with christian's favorites: pepperoni pizza and mint chocolate chip ice cream cake. we love you christian and happy birthday!!!

He seemed like such a nice kid( in the few minutes I talked to him). And he can do a mean cat's craddle:)
Sounds like a fun party!
That's funny that they were all huddled together. You gotta "respect the sport". That cake looks delicious. Happy Belated Birthday Christian!
Happy birthday, Christian!
