earth day was wednesday. bryce has been challenging me for awhile to reduce my dasani intake and get a filter for the faucet or buy a brita thing for the fridge. i'm not sure why i'm so hung up on the water bottle thing. maybe coke puts a special ingredient in their bottled water that makes it soooo tasty. in honor of earth day, the boys and i stopped at target and bought both - a faucet filter and a brita thingy for the fridge. (i always am worried about drinking ogden city water for some reason...) we got home and the brita had a hole in it. then i tried to put the filter on faucet and that didn't quite fit. hmmm.
i figured that drinking ogden city water would be fine for a day until i replaced the things i bought with ones that worked. thursday morning though, construction guys who are putting in a fiber optic cable up our street cut through out water main and left us water-less for the day. i had to laugh. so much for saving the earth from my water bottle habit. i had to run out and buy a case of dasani until our water was turned back on.

I don't know how I missed this post. I'm usually right on the new ones! I must really be slacking.
ps the word verification is "inglante". That's gotta be spanish for something righ?
bottled water does taste better! plus it's somehow just so much easier to grab a bottle than pour a glass.
