woodn't you

so erik has had teeth since he was 4 month old. in fact, he's had 8 teeth for 2 months or so now. i know he's not teething. the past few weeks i've walked in his room while he's gnawing on his crib like a hamster. maybe the wood is soft. maybe he likes the flavor of the black finish (which can't be healthy). i'm not sure. i just know that the carvings are getting deeper and i'm not sure how distract him from doing it. tabasco sauce?

oh, and btw... i'm not making my blog private now. it's a silly short story. if anyone is dying to know, i'll tell you in person. :)

Oh I totally remember Cade doing that. One side of his crib had a plastic covering over it but he always found the side without it and gnawed away. He eventually just grew tired of it but the crib railing was trashed.

I loved the footage of Eric playing in the sand. The gentle lapping of the waves, the cool breeze, a completely enthrawled toddler. There's nothing better.

I have a little chipmunk at my house, too. I always find Maggie biting on her bed, the railing, you name it! It kindof drives me crazy, but whenever I see her teeth marks it makes me smile :)

I have plenty of teeth marks on the crib and they aren't from my own kids. The ones I babysat did all the gnawing. But they did eventually grow tired of doing it. Boy am I glad those days are gone.

Zach did the same thing to our crib. None of the other kids gnawed on the crib - just him. Never knew why.
