yes, erik took the big "tummy to back" roll friday night. about 2am i heard his yelping and stumbled into his room to check things out. he was totally on his back (i've mentioned before that he sleeps on his tummy.) and started laughing and started his little cockroach arms and legs wiggle. he was sooo excited. basically though, he was stuck and didn't know what to do since he was on his back. luckily, he goes back to sleep really fast and that was that.
i took these pics yesterday afternoon when the attempt to roll wasn't as smooth. this time when i heard his funny "woo hoos" and yelps, i found him asleep on his side slurping on his hands struggling to flip to his back. i'm glad i was there to catch the very jerky, slow motion flippage. what a proud mom i am.

way to go little man! you better look out tara, if he is already moving like that it won't be too long before he's trying to crawl. then things really get interesting.
